Dangerous games

You throw me a ball of pins
pricking my fingers
blood
and it's play you say

You toss a coin in the air
"heads you lose, tails I win.."
no odds
and it's a game of chance you say

You draw a map of life
"fit yourself in"
no choices
and it's a free world you say

You question trust
"...as I would like to"
remember?
All fingers pointing at you
so don't slay

Ego in the sky
pride in the hide
love in the din
hatching concrete spirits
under the heat of sin

Mafeeshee

"Not yourself today"
what can my self say
delirious
in the darkness of your eyes
nesting
in whispered lullabies
today words deserted me
left in the intensity
of what is
and what can be
I know
I know you too can see

KILLERS

They shine with darkness
crack open shyness
strip rusted secrets
shame living blindness
twinkle hidden stars
amuse jupiter and mars
lubricate thicket zones
lamenting from dryness
dress naked loneliness
with warm woolen brace
harness habitual rashness

accentuate your face
Eyes that seep right through
stripping me from grace

Degree Celcius

It's getting too cold
in the shade
of the cedar tree

tic-toc

Tic-toc tic-toc
time strumming tunes
with the hands of your clock

Tic-toc tic-toc
time going breathless
eroding this rock

Draw time nearer
if so you wish
you're in a rush while
I still have food in my dish

Press Forward

Rushing into love
like there's no tomorrow
strings of words
to fill the silence of the distance
collecting charms
on chains around our wrists
flaunting emotions
laughter and
tears
on flat lit screens
loving
hugging...
kisses
cover the map of the earth
Yet not a touch
or a smell of you
Not a breath
on the sole of my neck
Not a finger
through my tangled hair
nor a stare
into the abyss of my eyes...
meeting plans
hang on the hands of time
fear of love sought
feeble restraints
crushed by pressing desires
endless roads
with no beginnings
designing short cuts
between now and infinity
absurdity at its best
as natural as nature gets

LEECHES

They feed on your love
on your humanity
on your goodness
They feed on your joy
on your life experiences
on your body
on your soul
They feed on your smiles
on your tears too
Leeches
Feed on you
without giving anything in return
then they move on to their next meal
without settling the bill

Leeches are not unique
Their victims usually are
They feed on your uniqueness
how spiteful how malicious
the devil comes in different leech forms
yup
he does

I am not
a graffiti on a subway wall
nor a carving
on some excavated prehistoric cave
I am not
an echo in a grand canyon
nor a voice
broadcast on radio
I am not
an image from figments of imagination
nor a reflection
in some broken glass
I am a soul
with dimensions
expanded under the heat of love
shrunk in the cold of your heart
I would be nothing
if not everything that I am
And I'm not you
so judge me not
by the measures that tailor you.
You may be a tree
and I may be a tumbleweed
But when the strong fierce wind blows
it'll tumble me
and break YOU!

I was not seeking
not peeking
not speaking

I was not trying
nor dying
not lying

I was doing fine
not going out of line
when yours got tangled with mine

When the Past becomes your Present
mixed like effervescent
A feeling Oh! so pleasant

Where does one go from here
When he's far yet so near
Stretching out with no fear

No not true
fear hovers in the blue
When all accounts will be due

But I don't care
I live to dare
The fate that we share

The last of the prophets

Sealed my holly book
locked the iron doors
of my abandoned church
staggered to the mountain top
looking down
I saw your footprints
gradually disappearing
in the thickness of your ambiguity
...
which way did you go?

All lost

I lost what it takes
to write
to love
to feel
to survive
to smile
to dream
to wake up
to do
to carry on
to stop and look back

I lost what it takes to forgive you...

Halves

Left you behind
half asleep
half covered
with half a sigh

Walked towards
the half no-moon
with half a smile
and... half a wish

Light & Easy

It's so easy
to be with you
always,
it's so fine

Feels so light
to carry you
in my heart,
so divine

It's so safe
to leave it all
up to you,
my solid rock

It's so brave
to let it be
you and I,
round the clock

Sleep Comfort

Spreading new sheets
yellow favourites
in linen cools
pure chance
or was it?
assisting me
assisting you
tuck in... hold corner..
now roll over
comforter
in full bloom prints
proud puffed pillows
proud puffed smile
that familiar
shine in your eyes
"lady of the house"
a title you've given me
that spreads my own
bed of Joy
